The Overseas Background of Executives and The Financialization of Entity Enterprise study based on STATA

Stata is a set of complete and integrated statistical software that provides its users with data analysis, data management and drawing professional charts. This paper uses Stata to study the influence of senior executives' overseas background on the financialization level of entity enterprises. This study used the data of China's A-share listed companies from 2007 to 2018 to conduct an empirical study, and found that senior executives with overseas background had an inhibitory effect on the degree of financialization of entity enterprises, and this effect was more obvious in non-state-owned enterprises. This paper theoretically expands the study on the economic consequences of executive traits and the influencing factors of enterprise financialization. It provides a new perspective for understanding the financialization of entity enterprises and riches the research results of the financialization of entity enterprises and the characteristics of executives.
