Use of information technologies in railway transport

This paper presents recommendations for improving the quality of urban transport services of current and potential users during rail transport. The traditional business model, which is currently applied in passenger transport, and the integration of internet services of carriers on the e-business platform are analyzed, with the help of advanced internet technologies. In line with the growing trend of the application of Internet technologies, the railway must use and implement innovative transaction models in business according to current constraints, in order to consider the needs of real and potential service users.
