Performance Analysis of the Two-Channel WDMRoF System For Various Attenuation Levels

There is a tremendous development in Cellular 5G communication, and its applications demand high-speed data transmission with a minimum BER. In this paper, we proposed the two-channel WDM-RoF system, which operates at a high-speed data rate of 10 Gbps and the carrier frequency of 60 GHz. We have designed a rigid two-channel WDM system that operates at different attenuation levels of 0.2 dB/km to 0.4 dB/km in single-mode fibre. The different lengths of the fibre from 20 km to 80 km are considered for designing the proposed system. We have analyzed the proposed method using various performance indices such as Q factor, eye diagram, BER, RF spectrum. at a length of 20 km and 80 km, respectively. It is concluded that the proposed two-channel WDM-RoF system works better at high-speed data under the attenuation level of 0.2 and 0.3 dB/km up to 80 km. For an attenuation level of 0.4 dB/km, it works better up to 70 km.
