CMOS 3D Multilayer Inductor: Design and Modeling

The article describes various aspects of the CMOS inductor development for LTE frequency bands low-noise amplifiers. The necessity and importance of their use in high-frequency devices are provided. Different types IC inductor implementations are considered. Industrial CAD solutions overview for the development of microwave frequency IC inductors is given. High inductance CMOS process 3D symmetrical inductor model simulation using the finite element method is performed.
