Algorithm for Analysis of the Correlation Between the Exposure to Functional Tests and the Dynamics of the Heart Rate

Assessment of the impact of external conditions and controlled exposures on the indicators of the cardiovascular system functioning remains a current problem in the study of the mechanisms of regulation of the human body. In this paper, time-synchronized recordings of the heart rate dynamics and a physical quantity reflecting the controlled exposure to functional tests - postural loads - are considered. An algorithm for analyzing the relationship between the exposure to functional tests on the example of postural loads and heart rate dynamics is proposed. The algorithm allows to analyze Spearman's correlation coefficients between time-synchronized records of changes in the duration of cardio intervals and records of the dynamics of a physical quantity reflecting the intensity of exposure. By presenting the same exposure at regular intervals we studied the effect of adaptation of the cardiovascular system to the exposure as the effect of habituation to the exposure and reducing the body's response when repeating homogeneous exposures.
