Optimization of Subsystems for Measuring Input, Internal and Output Voltages in Electric Drive

This article presents the optimization of the subsystem for measuring the input, internal and output voltages of an electrical energy converter for electric drive systems. A comparison of the topology of an electrical energy converter for electric drive systems using classic single-channel voltage sensors and typology using optimized multi-channel voltage sensors is given. Comparison of topologies shows the technical and economic efficiency and feasibility of the proposed optimization. Technical efficiency is a reduction in the number of functional blocks with a total number of interconnections, which in turn reduces the requirement for a control system of an electrical energy converter. Economic efficiency is a reduction in the cost of materials used for the production of an electric power converter, as well as the cost of its assembly.
