Algorithms of Switching-Based Calibration Methods for DACs

In this paper, switching-based calibration methods for digital-to-analog converters are discussed and reviewed. On the basis of a literature research, a classification of switching-based calibration methods is proposed. The following criteria were introduced: with/without an element unification, a type of constructed array and with/without elements redundancy. In accordance with the criteria, switching-based calibration methods were classified, and their correction algorithms were presented and described.
