Thermal Stress Analysis of DC Dry Type Wall Bushing

As the connection equipment between the valve hall of the converter station and the external transmission network, the DC dry type wall bushing has a big difference in ambient temperature on both sides of the wall, and the distribution of internal heat and thermal stress is complex. This paper adopts three-dimensional temperature-fluid-stress coupling calculation method. The geometric model was built according to the actual size of ±110kV DC dry type wall bushing. The temperature field and thermal stress distribution of the DC dry bushing under the environment temperature difference are calculated by simulating the fastening constraint condition of the bushing with full consideration of bushing loss and heat dissipation mode, and the validity and accuracy of the calculation results are analyzed. The research results in this paper can provide a theoretical basis for the design and optimization of the structure of the DC dry type wall bushing.
