Stain detection method of solar panel based on spot elimination

When the photovoltaic panel is contaminated by stains, it will produce a serious thermal spot effect, which will lead to a large decrease or even damage to the life of the whole photovoltaic panel, so it is necessary to detect the stains of the solar panel in time. Firstly, the light spot of the whole photovoltaic panel image is eliminated, so that the photovoltaic panel image can be extracted effectively. Secondly, a single photovoltaic cell image is obtained by image correction and image segmentation. Furthermore, the stain and its location are extracted by mathematical morphology. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of this method in detecting photovoltaic panel stains. Photovoltaic panel stain detection can make the operation and maintenance personnel clean up in time, to avoid the occurrence of faults and greatly improve the service life of photovoltaic panels.
