Mixed Signal Separation Method Combined Deconvolution and Iterative Beamforming

In underwater acoustic communication network, the ability to separate the mixed signals is essential for achieving high-speed communication without collision. In order to improve the performance of the signal separation algorithm, this paper proposed a signal separation algorithm based on direction of arrival estimation using uniform circular array. The basic idea of the algorithm is to estimate the direction of the arrival signal by using deconvolution beamforming algorithm based on uniform circular array. According to the results of the direction of arrival estimation from different sources, using iterative beamforming to recover signal. The simulation results show that this signal separation algorithm is better than the independent component correlation (ICA) algorithm and conventional beamforming (CBF) method, the original signal is correlated with the separated signal significantly. The method proposed in this paper has a better signal separation effect and lower complexity.
