A feasibility study on CSP technology to comply with Bangladesh to its power system competency

A country's sustainable economy relies on the use of its advanced technologies in managing energy resources. Bangladesh is a blessed nation with natural resources to make its power sector a revolution, and is tremendously advancing its competency against the huge rising demand for electricity with planning to integrate renewable energy sources. With the geographical location and solar radiation profile, Bangladesh fits to renewable energy technologies. Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) in particular, a recent cutting-edge innovation with environmentally sustainable technology is becoming the most consistent in the Power-Tech-Revolution, which provides an extensive audit from the generation capacity to supply economy with the integration of thermal energy storage systems in RE framework. Gemasolar is such a pilot project in Spain, which successfully has remarked with the CSP technology. This study observes the feasibility of such technology in Bangladesh with its natural solar profile, with an economical, clean energy and technology perspective.
