Simulation and Analysis of Millimeter-Wave Propagation Characteristics at 60 GHz in Corridor Environment

In this paper, the millimeter-wave propagation characteristics at 60 GHz for fifth generation (5G) wireless communication systems in corridor environment are studied based on the method of shooting and bounding ray tracing/image (SBR/IM). Firstly, the correctness of the simulation is verified by comparing with the measured data. In addition, the simulation of line-of-sight (LOS) and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) environment is carried out. The propagation characteristics, including path loss and power angle profile are discussed.
