Enhance Dynamic Performance of Induction Motor with Predictive torque control Scheme based Diode clamped Inverter

Improve dynamic and steady state performance of Induction Motor (IM) with predictive torque control (PTC) scheme based diode clamped inverter (DCI) is presented in this manuscript. The conventional PTC control algorithm and other intelligent control strategies like fuzzy, genetic algorithms etc are fails to achieve i.e. suppress or mitigate the torque ripple content in the load torque. With employing proposed model predictive control based DCI to the IM fast torque response is achieved and it doesn't effects the stator parameters of the IM such as stator field and flux and stator current. MATLAB package environmental is utilised to analyse the performance of the IM. Simulation results are investigated for various scenarios such as steady response i.e. load on IM is constant, transient response i.e. loaded on IM suddenly with step variation, even false or inaccurate design of winding inductance parameters also better acceptable output response is achieved with adopting proposed technique.
