Effects of Electric Vehicles Battery on The Harmonic Distortion of HVDC Lines by Active Filter

Using active and passive filters is necessary to prevent harmonic distortion of HVDC lines. This paper, using PHEVs in the case of (v2g) instead of the active filters capacitors by considering the stat of the charge of PHEVs battery is investigated. The main reason of using such an idea is that in the future, not so far, all fossil fuels cars are replacing by electric cars, which will lead to reduce air pollution and make cars more economical. However, providing ideas that lead to multi-purpose use of such vehicles is valuable in academic research and will significantly reduce costs to show the advantage of propose method the active filter has installed it in (HVDC) for human living.
