Four Notch Dual Band Micro-strip Patch Antenna for S-C Band Application

In this paper S -Band and C-Band antenna has been design using shorting pins, via hole and meander type ground plan. The inductance of the geometry is optimized in this paper. The Analytical models are used for modeling of the antenna. The measurement shows Operating Impedance bandwidth achieved in S and C Band. Obtained 8% operating impedance bandwidth in S-Band and 24% operating bandwidth where |S11| • • 10 dB are obtained,. Obtained four operating notches at four operating frequencies 2.2SGHz, 2.6GHz, 3.3GHz and 4.4GHz Where return losses obtained -15dB, -25.5dB,-16dB and -31dB, respectively. This antenna can be effectively use in5G sub 6 GHz and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi bands.
