Design of Universal PPM Modulation Module for Laser Communication Based on FPGA

According to the basic principle of Pulse Position Modulation (PPM), a universal PPM modulation module based on Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) is designed. The implementation scheme and the components of the module are given. The waveforms of each module designed by FPGA are simulated. The module is verified through the experiment, the results show that the module can achieve PPM modulation, and have strong versatility.
