Programming Workshops of Quiz Game for Children in three Municipalities in Hokkaido

The author held programming workshops in Abashiri city, Sarufutsu village and Sapporo city in Hokkaido with collaborators. These workshops were designed for children to experience the fun of realizing their own ideas. The goal of the participating children was to program a quiz game using Scratch to show the attractions of their hometowns in these workshops. We could complete all these workshops and give the participant children high level of satisfaction and further interests in programming.
