A Novel partition-phase-shift Control Strategy for the Isolated Bidirectional AC/DC Matrix Converter

In order to realize the coordination of the pre-stage circuit and the post-stage circuit of the isolated bidirectional AC/DC matrix converter, a novel partition-phase-shift control strategy is proposed. In this control strategy, dual-line-voltage modulation and partition-phase-shift control are employed for the pre-stage circuit, and complementary control is adopted for the post-stage circuit. Simulation results show that the balanced sinusoidal grid currents, nearly unity input power factor and low output voltage/current ripple have been realized, which demonstrates the feasibility and validity of the proposed control strategy.
