Entrepreneurial Intentions Research of Business Students in the Ukrainian Context

The goal of the current paper is to empirically check the ideas of the TPB in the Ukrainian academic context. The research was carried out among students in the undergraduate business programs of NUBIP, Ukraine. The statistical estimations demonstrated that the independent factors such as attitude towards entrepreneurship, subjective norms, locus of control and self-efficacy influence business students entrepreneurial intentions. The main behavioral factors extracted through factor analysis are fully consistent with those of the Ajzen's theoretical concept and they have sufficient validity in the Ukrainian context. The tests verified the proposed linear regression model is statistically significant and it can be implemented to predict the impact of the main behavioral factors on the entrepreneurial intentions of the Ukrainian business students.
