Community Detection in Static and Dynamic Social Networks

The aim of this paper is to bring together major techniques and algorithms which have been designed and implemented to study static and dynamic social networks and then further detect the communities present in them. The exploration basically revolves around the static and dynamic aspect of the network to find out different communities and to study the effect of change of time on the overall network structure. There are different parameters which come into picture in molding and shaping a network over a period of time which require attention and analysis. Finding the ones that are affected and affect the structure is of high importance. Precisely, we would be discussing both static and dynamic social networks - the detection and creation of communities in this document.
