Analysis and Design of Two High Voltage Gain Impedance Network based Boost Converters

Two impedance-network based boost converters with high boost factor are proposed in this paper. The quasi-Z-network and quasi-Z-network equivalent dc-dc boost converters are modified using L-C-L cell to achieve higher voltage gain. Both the converters have inherent advantages of quasi-Z-source converters which are common ground and lower device voltage stress. The design guidelines for passive components in both converters are established based on the steady-state analysis and operation principle. The proposed converters are also compared with existing high gain converters present in literature. The theoretical analysis of proposed converters is verified through simulation results.
