Current Situation and Countermeasures of Uncontrollable Infection of Severe Acute Pancreatitis

Purpose: this thesis aims to explore the current situation and countermeasures of uncontrollable infection of severe acute pancreatitis. Method: 100 severe acute pancreatitis patients, who were admitted to an affiliated hospital of Kunming Medical University from September 2018 to November 2019, are selected into research, and infection factors and pathogenic bacteria distribution are observed during their corresponding treatment. Results: for severe acute pancreatitis patients, gender, age, and body mass index have little influence on their infection and P is larger than 0.05. Nevertheless, fasting time, diabetes, external pancreatic infection, multiple organ failure, APACHE II and mechanical ventilation exert a strong influence on their infection and P is less than 0.05. Moreover, 108 strains of pathogenic bacteria are detected in 100 patients, which fully proves multiple infections among patients. There are 74 strains of gram-negative bacteria, accounting for 68.51%, which is the highest proportion; 28 strains of gram-positive bacteria account for 25.93%; 6 fungi strains account for 5.56%, which is the least. Conclusion: the current situation of treating uncontrollable infection of severe acute pancreatitis in our country is not promising and patients are difficult to be fully cured due to constant consumption and repeatedly infection. Therefore, uncontrollable infection of severe acute pancreatitis may not be prevented and treated efficiently until prompt overall treatment, accurate intervention, and effective implementation of therapeutic schedule.
