Causes and Treatment of Adolescent Depression

This paper mainly discusses the causes and treatment of adolescent depression. Through knowledge the author has learned in class and the literature review, several causes and treatments of the disease are given. The causes can be divided into genetic factors and environmental factors, and treatments include psychotherapy and drug therapy. The purpose of this article is to let people know more about adolescent depression and make timely prevention or relief. There have been significant advances in drug therapy and psychotherapy research, and cognitive behavior treatment (CBT) is considered more effective.
