Low Scattering Antenna with Resistive and Coding Metasurface

In this paper, a low-scattering patch antenna is proposed by using the diffusive reflective screen, which is a combination of resistive and coding metasurface (RCM) for the reduction of wideband backscattered energy level. Three different array blocks are configured by combining two coding metasurface elements, and a absorptive component to get a remarkable RCS reduction from 7 GHz to 18 GHz but also overall reduction is achieved from 5 GHz to 22 GHz. It is also worth mentioning that the bistatic RCS of the proposed prototype is realized at different frequencies. Simulations of reference and proposed prototype have been discussed.
