Research on the quality of high frequency communication printed circuit board micro-holes based on printed circuit board microsections method

With the rapid development of 5G communication technology, it has directly led to the widespread application of the high frequency communication printed circuit boards (PCB). The characteristics of high frequency communication PCBs lead to higher challenges in PCB processing technology, the quality of micro-holes is one of the important standards that affect the quality of high frequency PCBs signal transmission. In this paper, Arlon AD300 high frequency PCB is selected for the micro-holes drilling experiment, and the microsections method is used to observe the morphology of the burrs in the micro-holes. The experimental analysis shows that the quality of the high frequency PCB micro-holes will be affected by the spiral angle parameters of the micro drills used in processing. It has important practical value for ensuring the quality of high frequency PCB micro-holes.
