Research on the Layout of Rectangular Parts Based on Genetic Algorithm

The layout of rectangular parts is a widespread problem in the modern industrial production process. Improving the layout algorithm and proposing a more excellent layout algorithm will bring huge commercial value. Aiming at various types of rectangular parts layout problems, an intelligent rectangular part layout algorithm based on genetic algorithm is proposed. The algorithm adopts the strategy of remaining rectangles, improves the selection and arrangement of small rectangles, and designs a more excellent layout fitness function. In the actual layout problem, the algorithm has achieved good results.
