Optimization Design of Auto Shell Model Structure

Optimizing the auto-body shell has become the main design method aimed to reduce the air drag the auto bears in the running process. The selection of auto shell design materials and the main parameters were investigated, followed by a force analysis of the main load-carrying parts in the auto shell model. Meanwhile, a wind resistance simulation test was carried out for the auto shell model, and the static pressure flow path line graph and velocity flow path line graph of the auto under high-velocity straight running condition were acquired. Therefore, the structure design of the automobile shell can be optimized to reduce the air resistance and improve the vehicle performance.
