Improving sustainability in public hospital through Medicines Supply chain management

The purpose of this article is to evaluate sustainability level within medicines supply chain in public hospital in MOROCCO. Into this perspective, our contribution tries to ask questions of sustainability. How is medicines supply chain in Moroccan hospital socially sustainable? How to increase the degree of social sustainability of medicines supply chain in Moroccan public hospital. To do it, we used a structured method based on case study of public hospital. The method is a diagnostic of the performance of the studied supply chain. As result, two main dysfunctions were highlighted. It's about the centralization of drug supplies and the replenishment of care units. Finally, three recommendations were proposed to overcome these dysfunctions: Reconfiguration of the Centralization system of medicines supply, new system to replenish the care units, Restructuring of a drug exchange system between hospitals.
