User Behavior Analysis of Bangladeshi people on Mobile Device Usage

The market of mobile manufacturers is remarkably huge, happening and profitable one. There are a few of the local mobile manufacturers in Bangladesh who seemingly has targeted Bangladeshi people as their target client. A research on user behavior on mobile device from Bangladeshi people's perspective could be fruitful to produce more appropriate products for the right clients by the mobile manufacturers. This study tried to analyse Bangladeshi people's user behavior on daily mobile device usage. A tracker app having logging software had been used to collect logged data of 24 hours directly from the respondents along with a questionnaire for reflecting on respondents' thoughts. We analysed the operation logs and questionnaire responses to analyse usage pattern, mobile addiction, frequency of key to menu access, battery usage etc. We also analysed the collected data to predict user behavior of people according to six age groups as a part of this study. A few challenges during conducting the study had been discussed at the end.
