Improving Attention and Focus Using Brain-Computer Interfaces and Cog-Car Games with brain signals processing

The role of focus and attention in human life has become much more important than ever. Therefore, people are looking for ways to increase this skill in their lives, without the help of chemical drugs. One of the new ways to increase focus is to use neurofeedback. Neurofeedback helps improve focus and attention by processing brain waves without harming the body. In this article, we designed and implemented a hardware game, based on brain signals called Cog-Car. This device encourages people to use neurofeedback in tangible games. During the process of the games, we examined the rate of focus improvement of 10 people in three consecutive days - three times in a day, with a time interval of two hours. By decreasing the number of electrodes and using the two FP1 and FP2 points and the brain-computer interface of Open BCI, the signal was recorded. Each person will be trained first, and during the three days of the test, the time of arrival of the Cog-Car at the end of the route will be recorded, and at the end of each test, the times obtained on that day will be checked. After recording each person's time at the end of the third day, the time is analyzed using SPSS software. Then given the average daily improvement of person in bringing Cog-Car to the Goal, the neurofeedback efficiency in improving focus and attention and using the game Cog-Car to encourage people to use neurofeedback will be obtained.
