Optimal Planning of Electric-heat Coupled Integrated Energy System With N-1 Constraints

To improve the efficiency of the energy system and the ability to consume renewable energy, the Integrated Energy System (IES), as one of the most important development directions of Energy Internet, has been developed rapidly. IES utilizes the strong coupling and synergy between different kinds of traditional energy systems, which has effectively solved the problems of renewable energy consumption and peak load shaving for power system, and has been widely used. Therefore, the planning of IES has become a research hotspot. Because of the strong coupling between traditional electrical power system and thermal system, Electric-Heat Coupled Integrated Energy System (EHC-IES) has become one of the most important IESs, and its planning issues have also been widely concerned. Besides, it puts forward higher requirements for energy supply reliability of IES because of the strong coupling. In this context, the N-l planning model of EHC-IES is proposed in this paper, and the effectiveness of the model is verified by case study of an EHC-IES. This paper also uses a cost posterior calibration method based on equipment reliability parameters to verify the superiority of the proposed N-l planning model in both reliability and economy.
