Simplified CCHP-HP System Design Method Based on Yearly Operation Analysis

The initial investment of gas engine driven heat pump cogeneration system for combined heat, cold and power (CCHP) is much higher than other heat pump (HP) equipment, so its capacity design is the key point of integrated CCHP-HP system. Based on the hypothesis that each device start-stop according to the optimal economic principle, an Excel based optimization calculation method for CCHP-HP design, which according to the annual operation, has been proposed combined with a case study. Yearly operation-based system design method can be quickly realized by Excel spreadsheet, which is convenient for designers to adopt.
