Research on Fault Intelligent Identification and Control System of Large AC/DC Hybrid Grid

The power system is one of the most complex man-made technology networks in the world today. With the development of UHV AC/ DC and large-scale new energy grid connection, the complexity and uncertainty of modern power system operation and control have increased dramatically, which has brought huge challenges to power grid security and stability analysis and control. The rapid development of AI technology has brought opportunities for intelligent identification and rapid response control of large power grid faults. In this paper, from many aspects such as regular knowledge representation method of equipment fault, the judgment technology of large power grid complex fault patterns, the quantitative evaluation method of fault impact and the control criterion, the difficulties and ideas of AI technology application are put forward and the framework of fault intelligent identification and control system for AC/DC hybrid grid is proposed. The research will effectively promote the application of AI technology in the actual production of large power grids, and lay a foundation for comprehensively improving the flexibility, reliability and efficiency of stability control of large power grid.
