Research on Multi-Agent based Optimization in Smart Production Line

The smart production line is a complex application combines computation, network and physical environment. With the characteristics of smart and flexible, it is more adaptable to the rapid changes in market demand and small-volume customization of individualized, diversified products. This article explores a system integration architecture that combines flexibility and stability, with the ability to carry out rapid structural adjustment and effective information exchange in the complex manufacturing environments. Agent-based framework and optimization algorithms are presented, which can ensure the efficiency of production scheduling and quickly respond to abnormal factors. We test and validate the proposed architecture and strategies through an application to the actual smart production line.
