Solar Electric Boat Development Programme

Solar boat for entertainment and short distance traveling is examined in this paper. The maximum power point tracking, battery management system, solar power charging, and overall system design are proposed. The boat is designed for low power and cost side water travelling and no wave and tidal issues. The boat is then based on low power and low cost design. The boat has been verified by practical test and the performance is highly satisfactory. The project is to promote green transportation and green entertainment and is a good education program development.
