Smart Checkup and Health Assistance Based on Internet Of Things $(24\ \mathrm{X}\ 7)$

This paper presents a next generation health platform incorporating android application for verbal interaction and ICT (information and communications technology). The architecture of the platform extends the Internet of Things (IoT) to a web-centric paradigm. This system incorporates smart phone assistance to support meticulous care for the treatment of chronic diseases. A smart phone application will act as human assistance. The application records the patient's details and day to day activities by verbal interaction, just like a caretaker. This is achieved by taking the voice input from the patient and providing voice output. It is connected to a medical kit (wirelessly), through which it sends all the test details periodically to the diseases management hub (DMH). By accumulated data stored in the patient's electronic medical record, it creates reminders, warnings messages, and appropriate health advices when self management outcome deviates from pre- specified targets. E-health platform is a boon for the people enduring from chronic diseases.
