Review of Research on Prediction Algorithms of Bus Headway

Public transportation plays an important role in the city's intelligent transportation system. Accurate bus headway forecast is crucial for passengers to arrange their travel time and for bus operators to provide high quality service. This article first studies the three main factors affecting bus headway prediction. Then we focus on the analysis of several bus headway prediction models. Finally, we summarize the current difference and development trends of the research on bus headway.
