Quantitative Line and Band Shape Studies with a Pressure-Scanning Millimeter Wave Dispersion Spectrometer

A pressure-scanning spectrometer was especially developed to measure the numerous spectroscopic parameters (line: position, strength, self and foreign broadened width, shift, shape; band and continuum: absolute intensity, shape) of oxygen and water vapor, which are central to the calculation of transfer and emission characteristics exhibited by moist air in the EHF (30–300 GHz) band.
