Computer Simulation of Three-Dimensional Pyroelectric IR Detectors

An algorithm given in [1] is revised and realized on computer for calculating the performance of thin pyroelectric IR detectors. The detector considered consists of a thin circular crystal plate of radius γ2 and thickness d, coated with circular surface electrodes of radius γ1, and mounted on a shallow cylindrical substrate of inner radius γ3 and thickness d0 so that the detector is effectively free-bearing.
