Analysis and Countermeasure on Information Security in Universities

Universities shoulder the important mission of cultivating and providing talents for the society, carrying out scientific research and experiments and transforming achievements. The security and stability of universities are important factors concerning the stable development of society. Working on the information security in universities is the strategic deployment that implements the overall national security concept persisted by the CPC Central Committee and paves out a path of national security with Chinese characteristics. This paper summarizes the connotation and main work of information security in universities, analyzes the current situation of information security protection in universities from four aspects: resistance capacity of information security, overall environment of security protection system, working mode of information construction and security awareness of all personnel in universities, and concludes the countermeasures of constructing security protection system in universities.
