A novel sensitive chaotic image encryption algorithm based on SHA-3 and steganography

Chaotic systems are used in many image encryptions. This paper based on SHA-3 and steganography proposes a chaotic image encryption algorithm, which is extremely sensitive to plaintext content. The process of the algorithm is related to the hash value of plain image, makes the process extremely sensitive to the pixels of plain image. Different from other algorithms, this algorithm uses steganography to embed the hash value into the ciphertext image. The scheme does not require an extra channel to transmit the hash value, it has no hash transmission cost and transmission leakage risk. Our Experimental and security analysis show that the proposed algorithm has good security performance and can resist various attacks.
