Event-Triggered Control for Networked Control Systems under Intermittent Cyber-Attacks

This paper studies the adaptive event-triggered control for linear network-based control systems (NCSs) suffering from exogenous disturbance and intermittent deception cyber-attacks. First, in order to achieve an elegant trade-off between the reduction of data transmissions and desired control performance, an adaptive event-triggered mechanism (AETM) is initially proposed, which can be more effective in tackling the disturbed NCSs. Second, based on the AETM and switching approach, a novel mathematical model is presented to reflect the intermittent occurrence of deception cyber-attacks. Third, by choosing two piecewise generalized Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals (LKFs), a set of sufficient conditions are offered to ensure that the closed-loop system is globally exponential stable (GES). Finally, an example with some simulations is presented to verify the obtained results.
