On Strong Stabilization of Linear Difference Equations with Multiple Time Delays

This paper concentrates on the strong stabilization problem of linear difference equations with multiple time delays. Based on an existing condition in which the coefficients of linear delay equations appear as a linear function, a sufficient condition for the state feedback design is provided in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The stabilization problem of a class of 2-D Roesser models is also studied, which leads to a sufficient condition for the existence of the state feedback controller. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the presented results.
