Dynamic configuration method of satellite time-triggered Ethernet

The continuous increase of the scale of spacenborne equipment poses urgnet demand for the enhancement to intersatellite communication capabilities. In order to adapt to the future development trend of the satellite control network, time-triggered Ethernet(TTE) with strong real-time capability, high bandwidth, and stable security has become the development direction. As the carrier of inter-satellite communication, the satellite time-triggered Ethernet must adaptively make ’’network switching" operations on the transformation of network, as well as ensure that the time-efficiency of network function recovery. However, the current SMT-based scheduling algorithm is of high complexity, and there is a lack of quantitative analysis of the downtime of network devices, which cannot guide the dynamic configuration of TTE. To solve this problem, this paper presents a asynchronous method of dynamic configuration in TTE. We proposes a deterministic scheduling algorithm based on the characteristics of time-triggered messages. Additionally, a method for minimizing the downtime without affecting the communication quality is proposed. Finally, we evaluate the proposed dynamic configuration mechanism in simulations. The experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of this method, which can effectively obtain the configuration conflict time, significantly realize the seamless switch of the network status.
