Spoofing mitigation for GPS receiver based on array antenna using cross-correlation of received signals of each element

A low-complexity and practical blind adaptive suppression technique against GPS spoofing attack is proposed using cross-correlation characteristics of received signals of each array element. It can effectively suppress the spoofing signals which are transmitted from the same direction. Simulation results show that when the power of each spoofing PRN codes is 2dB relative to that of each authentic PRN, the proposed method can apply approximately 20dB of attenuation to each spoofing PRN, for ternary array antenna without the need of array calibration and orientation.
