An Architecture for Smart University Data Collection and Management Based on Blockchain Network

Nowadays, many countries around the world are exploring how to build smart university. With the advent of NB-IoT and 5G technologies, it has become possible to create a campus data network based on multi-resource data collected from diverse sensors and online platforms. However, the current approach of data storage of smart universities is mostly cen-tralized which can't enable data intercommunication between departments, meanwhile, the owner of data such as students and teachers can't really own their data physically. In this paper, we propose a novel layered architecture based on blockchain network for smart university data system where departments, students, teachers, and external organization could get access to real-time data while all the data's authenticity and privacy is well guaranteed.
