An Aircraft Image Detection and Tracking Method Based on Improved Optical Flow Method

In response to the need for high-definition image testing of aircraft-like targets during the flight test, the photoelectric turntable is equipped with a high-definition camera to obtain image sequences, real-time detection of targets based on mixed Gaussian background modeling, and tracking particle dispersion initialization of the detected aircraft. The tracking is based on the improved pyramid L-K optical flow method, and the adaptive template is used to determine the tracking result. After experimental verification and comparative analysis, the target detection and tracking algorithm in this paper has good real-time performance, high tracking success rate, and has certain practical application value.
