Study of The Need for DLT in The Mining Industry

The article examines the possibility of implementing DLT in mining companies. For this purpose, the terms blockchain and DLT were initially specified according to the current legislation. The choice of DLT or databases in the management of specific processes in mining enterprises was researched. Peck and Lewis algorithms for adequacy for entering DLT or databases were used for this purpose. Cases are indicated in which due to legal and regulatory requirements it is necessary to implement DLT and record data in Blockchain. The main obstacles to the introduction of DLT are identified, as well as studies on the inevitable digitization of all production processes regardless of the chosen system.
