Highly Integrated Compact Motion Control System for Brushless DC Machine

The Brushless DC (BLDC) machines are becoming a very popular in drive technology over the last years because of its advantages including low maintenance, high power density, high efficiency and robustness compared to other type of motors. Because of its numerous advantages the BLDC motors can be found in different applications, such as vehicle and home appliances. Over the last decade, low power, low cost and high torque BLDC machines have gained popularity in robotic applications, replacing stepper and brushed motors in servo drives.
