Modeling of Heat Transfer in the Process of Wood Drying Based on the Theory of Cellular Automata

The paper describes ways to study heat transfer in the process of drying wood. To carry out these studies, it proposed to use the theory of cellular automata. To do this, we present a three-dimensional mathematical model, which described by an interconnected system of partial differential equations in time derivatives and spatial coordinates. In addition, the paper presents a diagram of the representation of dried wood in the form of 3D cubes. In this paper, we show a diagram of the relation between the faces of 3D cubes, which developed by using 2D neighborhood of Von Neumann. The paper also describes the developed software and its functionality. To test the mathematical model, were conducted a number of experiments by using the developed software.
